Losing sucks! But that’s life… you can’t win ’em all.
Last month…
I wrote about another IDeACOM success story where we helped a new client who was in serious need after their Avaya system bit the dust and their vendor was unresponsive to their cries for help.
Once IDeACOM intervened and implemented a new cloud-based phone system, I am pleased to report that all is well again…
And our new client is extremely happy!
This month…
I’m writing about a recent loss where a new (prospective) client chose another vendor 😖
In this case, they thought they were getting a better deal.
But as you’ll find out, that’s NOT exactly how it worked out.
In the cloud-based VoIP telecom industry, there are many different providers. Some we consider to be turnkey service providers – like IDeACOM.
And many others that we refer to as ‘cheap seat providers‘.
This guy went with a ‘well-known’ cheap seat provider – whose name shall remain anonymous.
And guess what happened?
Yep, that’s right, he got what he paid for… and then some!
By ‘and then some’ I am NOT referring to added value.
Unfortunately, in his case it was delays, aggravation, stress, the run-around, and an unplanned DIY implementation.
For those unfamiliar, DIY means that you get to Do It Yourself. Surprise!!!
Basically, he received the worst possible service you could ever imagine!

He was STUCK!
I don’t wish that on anyone – and it’s disturbing to know that this undisclosed tactic still exists…
Anyway, we still helped because he was left hanging and his new cheap seat provider wasn’t offering any assistance. Can you believe it?
He needed to port phone numbers, but his requests were being rejected. Multiple times…
I am happy to report that after IDeACOM got involved, all is well again.
We were able to get his port request on-track so he could overcome the rejection and move his phone numbers to his new cheap seat provider.

I guess you can call it another IDeACOM success story, only in this case we didn’t have the pleasure of welcoming his company to our growing IDeACOM family. Maybe next time…
